When you are at the Airport take the train to Central Station, from here you take tram 2 or 5 and get out at the stop 'Hobbemastraat'. Walk back down the street on your right and the P.C. Hooftstraat is the second street on your left.
When you are at the Amstel station take tram 12 and get out at the stop 'van Bearlestraat'. Walk down the street on your left and the P.C. Hooftstraat is the first street on your right.
BY CAR 
The best option with the car is to park at Stadionplein (P+R) which costs 5,50 Euros per day and take tram 16 and get out at Museumplein. Turn left into the van Baerlestraat and the P.C. Hooftstraat is the 3rd street on your right. It is also possible to park your car on the street for about 35 Euros per day.
